Chris Tsiamis – Director



Chris has always been passionate about the best in Cabinetry.  Fortunate to have been trained by some of Australia’s best trade teachers he was able to compete in and win Regional and National Trade Competitions.  He represented Australia at the International Skill Olympics in Osaka Japan in 1985 where he was judged 5th in the world in Cabinet making. 


Chris was later invited to become a Judge for Work Skill Australia for Regional competitions during 1986 and 1987.


Chris continued to work with his employer B. F & L Gray Cabinet Makers and was promoted to Foreman and in charge of overseeing all projects and training six staff.   


Initially employing one Apprentice, Award Cabinets has now grown to eight staff who offer over 70 years of experience in first class cabinet making and joinery.  Their service and quality has resulted in a long list of clients, who have continued to utilise and refer the services of Award Cabinets.  The Company’s success has been built on providing projects of “Outstanding Quality and Attention to Detail” for all its customers. 


Chris and his senior staff are constantly developing the best ways of working and maintain the highest possible standards to ensure Award Cabinets continues to succeed and grow but most importantly to assist clients to achieve their vision.
